PSHE
This site is intended to support PSHEe co-ordinators in either making or strengthening the case for PSHE education in schools.  It will help support the position of a comprehensive, planned and robustly assessed PSHEe programme supported by the wider curriculum and set within a ‘Healthy School’ working to the principles of SEAL and extending out into and learning from the community.

PSHEe will be essential if the school is to meet the ‘three statutory aims’ of the National Curriculum;

  • Successful learners
  • Confident individuals
  • Responsible citizens

the Every Child Matters outcomes that children will;

  • be healthy
  • stay safe
  • enjoy and achieve
  • make a positive contribution
  • achieve economic wellbeing

and evidence the higher grade descriptors for wellbeing within the revised Ofsted Evaluation framework.
