Our Mission

Founded in 2002, The Learning Trust is committed to improving the life chances of people who live or learn in Hackney throught the provision of educational opportunities that enable everyone to meet their full potential. WOrking with a broad range of partners involved in the delivery of services to the Hackney community, we support schools and other education providers in consistently improving access to high quality educations through which people can fulfil their aspirations.

Our Vision

The Learning Trust's vision for education in Hackney is one of strong networks of children's centres, schools and other education providers working closely with communities in order to understand and meet their needs. To achieve this vision, we will work in partnershop with health and social care services, and those involved in keeping children and young people safe, to provide strategic direction and support for these networks, and will be an advocate for the Hackney community in pursuing consistent innovation and improvement in services. We will be a flexible organisation that is responsive to both national and local demands, and which utilises its resources and the talent of its staff to the full.
